HULL PLATE & YARD O’ CONCRETE FUND RAISING PROGRAMS
The Adams Class Veterans Association (ACVA) & the Jacksonville Historical Naval Ship Association (JHNSA) are jointly sponsoring two programs that will raise funds to bring the ex-USS Charles F. Adams DDG-2 to the Jacksonville, FL waterfront as the Adams Class Naval Ship Museum. The ACVA will administer these two programs with all donations earmarked for ship restoration and pier construction/refurbishment. Both ACVA & JHNSA are 501.c.3 non-profit groups. All of your donations to either of these programs or each Associations general funds are 100% tax deductible. Below are the details of each program.
HULL PLATE SPONSORSHIPThis program is designed for individual, groups, and business participants. There are about 1245 (4X8ft) hull plates on an Adams Class ship (sides, keel, and rear). Money donated to this program is not limited to the restoration costs of the ship thus keeping your donation 100% tax deductible. It may be spent on other costs associated with bringing the ship to Jacksonville. You may contribute to the Hull Plate Program one of two ways:
1. Sponsor / pledge an entire 4x8ft hull plate. The hull plates are priced as follows: GOLD LEVEL is $2500, RED LEVEL is $2250, WHITE LEVEL is $2000, BLUE LEVEL is $1750, and the VIOLET LEVEL is $1500. You may also request a specific plate number on either the Port or Starboard side of the ship. In order to see which Hull Plates are available, click on either the STARBOARD side or PORT side of the ship There are several payment plans designed to fit your budget listed on the sponsorship form. You may pay on your pledge by check or credit card. For those that desire to pay using a credit card, we can set you up with an automatic monthly billing plan until the balance is paid in full. If you desire this option, select it on the Hull Plate Pledge Form and we will contact you. In order to sign up for the Hull Plate Program all you need to do is print off the form and complete all areas. Mail in to the address on the form and listed below. Include your check or donate by credit card below. You only need to fill out the Hull Plate Sponsorship Form if you desire to sponsor an entire hull plate.

YARD O’ CONCRETE SPONSORSHIPThis program is designed for individuals, groups, and businesses and is to cover the cost of pier refurbishment, upgrades and/or building a new pier as required to place the Adams permanently in Jacksonville. FL. You may contribute to the Yard O’ Concrete Fund one of two ways:
1. Sponsor / Pledge at least ONE CUBIC YARD of concrete for $150. There are several payment plans designed to fit your budget listed on the sponsorship form. You may pay on your pledge by check or credit card. For those that desire to pay using a credit card, we can set you up with an automatic monthly billing plan until the balance is paid in full. If you desire this option, select it on the Yard O’ Concrete Pledge Form and we will contact you.
