Display Donations to the ADAMS Class Museum Visitor Center
The ADAMS Class Museum Visitor Center Needs Plaques from Several of the ADAMS Class Ships to be Displayed!!
Attention former sailors of the Adams Class Guided Missile Destroyers! The Jacksonville Historic Naval Ship Association (JHNSA) has been collecting donations or loans of the ship’s plaques of the entire class. Currently we need the donation or loan of plaques from the following ADAMS Class Ships – DDG-3, 6, 7, 9, 12,13,15,17,18, and 24. If you do not have a plaque but know a shipmate who does, please let him know of this project. Please contact Pat Stroud, the Manager of the ADAMS Class Museum Visitor Center at The Jacksonville Landing by email (visitorcenter@adamsclassmuseum.org) or phone at 904-647-5177 if you can help us collect the “missing” plaques. Pat will keep track of the offers so we receive just one plaque from each ship. The plaques are being placed directly over each ship’s framed photo which hang along upper portion the walls of the Visitor Center.
