ADAMS Class Guided Missile Destroyer Tartar Missile Display

Below is a picture of Wayne Misenar and Craig Bernat, standing beside the newly constructed Tartar Missile Display which has been fabricated to draw attention to the effort to establish the ADAMS Class Museum. This new display had its inaugural showing along the St. John’s River during the recent “Jacksonville Salutes the Sea Services”, on October 23 and 24.

SPS-10 and SPS-40 Radar Antennas

Below are pictures of the SPS-10 and SPS-40 radar antennas that were recently donated by the U.S. Navy to ACVA and JHNSA for restoration of the USS CHARLES F. ADAMS. Until we are ready to put the 2 antennas back onto the ship, the Armed Forces Military Museum in Largo, Florida has graciously agreed to display these antennas, one of the Navy’s requirements for getting the antennas.
